CD spindle, homemade by dh, use 2 CD's, the weight is better for spinning. Also great for plying as they hold alot of yarn.

Another crochetted rug from my handspun, dyed with onion skins. the dark orange-the first in the dye bath and the lighter used up the exhaust dye.
the wool roving on the sofa were dyed with kool aid.
