Before and After

shawl and scarf

The hairpin lace shawl was a purchase from the Main Street Mercantile,
I crocheted the scarf for Katie.

Scarf for Liah

The yarn is Tutu,it is wide and makes great ruffles.

Dyed wool, different colors spun one after another to make a striped yarn

Hanspun wool yarn dyed with onion skins

Yarn in the pot for the mordants: alum and cream of tartar.
Then later dyed with onion skins. I'm happy with the dark golden color.

Headband knitted

Headband, knitted with commercial cotton poly blend. The patterns for this headband and the jumper are in the Spring 2011 Love of Knitting magazine.
